Yoga classes are available for everyone ranging from first-time beginners to more advanced students. We offer prenatal yoga, gentle and restorative yoga, vinyasa flow yoga, chair yoga, children’s yoga, among others. Enhance the benefits of your yoga practice by attending yoga in the salt cave!

Beginner Yoga

This Beginner Yoga class is for those who have never done yoga before or who have been away from their yoga practice for a while. Learn the fundamentals of Basic Hatha Yoga to make you feel better all over. This class is especially helpful for back pain, stress reduction and better sleep. Flexibility and the ability to touch the toes is not a prerequisite. One reason we do yoga is to get more flexible, not because we’re already flexible.

Gentle Yoga

Gentle yoga is especially helpful for those students with aches and pains, arthritis, fibromyalgia or for students who just need to take a break and allow for healing. Beginners are welcome.

Restorative Yoga

In this delicious class, the student holds supported poses in a very comfortable position with the use of props such as blankets, bolsters and pillows. Especially beneficial for those suffering from stress and various aches and pains, anxiety and depression. Beginners and prenatal welcome as well as those with more yoga experience.

Level 1 Yoga

This class focuses on the instruction of proper alignment connected with the breath. This class is appropriate for those with some yoga experience but beginners may also participate.

Slow Flow

A slower paced flow yoga class with contemplative awareness of alignment and breath in each pose. Appropriate for beginners and those wishing to advance their practice while taking awareness within.

Yoga Then Wine

60 minutes of all-levels yoga followed by a guided wine tasting at Preservation Tasting Room & Bottle Shop! This event is typically on a Friday night once a month. Check the monthly calendar for class upcoming date/time or schedule a private event for your group.

Laughing Yoga

End your day with this stress buster class! Use laughter to strengthen immune function, bring more oxygen to the body and brain, foster positive feelings and just have a crazy, fun time! In this class, we fake it ’til we make it with laughter! You’ll leave feeling refreshed and renewed.

Chair Yoga

This class is for anyone interested in the health benefits of yoga without having to be on the floor. Chair yoga is especially helpful for those with arthritis or other joint challenges or for those who must sit at a desk all day. Learn stretches and other gentle movements while seated in a chair to help reduce tension and stress. Class ends with a seated deep relaxation.

Yoga with Weights

For students who want to build muscle strength and bone density. This all levels class gives students the option to add light hand weights into their yoga practice.

Integral Traditional Hatha Yoga

This classical yoga class is strongly influenced by the style and method of yoga teaching taught by Swami Satchidananda who founded Integral Yoga more than 50 years ago, based on the 5000 year old principles of yoga. This class includes a small amount of chanting, breathwork, a series of yoga poses, guided deep relaxation and meditation all intended to fine tune the body, mind and spirit. Some yoga experience is recommended.

Flow Yoga

This moderate paced class is suitable for all levels although a Beginner Class foundation is recommended. Yoga postures flow from one pose to another linked with the breath and will include instruction, guidance and assists. This class features multiple postures and active Vinyasa stretches to improve strength, flexibility and mental stability.

Midday Refresher Vinyasa Flow

This 60 minute lunch hour class is a moderate paced class suitable for all levels although a Beginner Class foundation is recommended. Yoga postures flow from one pose to another with instruction, guidance and assists. Focus on effective pose variations of holding power to tone and strengthen muscles as well as improving concentration. This class features multiple Hatha postures and active Vinyasa strengthening stretches to improve strength, flexibility and mental stability.

Yin Yoga

Floor poses are held 2-6 minutes at a time to experience a deep tissue stretch. In this class we go deep into your physical practice and personal transformation. Inspirational readings are shared in contemplation time. This class is a great idea for a Private Himalayan Salt Cave event!

Yoga Fusion

Multidimensional class including yoga flows, strength training and cardio bursts for a full body workout.

Yoga Then Salt

60 minutes of mixed level yoga in the yoga room followed by deep relaxation in the salt cave!

Guided Deep Relaxation In The Salt Cave

In this 45 minute salt cave session, allow yourself to get deeper into relaxation while guided through physically and mentally relaxing the body while enjoying all the benefits of the salt cave.

Kids Yoga IN the Salt Cave

In this 45 minute event, kids will enjoy a yoga class and salt cave experience! Bring your children to Be Happy for fun, calm and to receive the benefits of yoga & Himalayan Salt. This once a month event introduces children to a non-competitive physical activity that encourages self esteem and body awareness. Yoga helps children enhance their flexibility, strength, coordination, concentration and sense of calmness through the practice of fun poses, partner and group poses, yoga games, breathing and relaxation. The Himalayan Salt Cave calms children with soft music and dim lights and color therapy. The salt on the ground feels like sand and the children get to play! Please register in advance space is limited, mats are provided. 

Yoga In The Salt Cave

Let’s get salted – yoga, breath work, guided deep relaxation and meditation in the salt cave! Receive the full benefits of a salt cave session and a yoga class in one. Through yoga, breathing is enhanced and therefore the benefits of the salt cave are enhanced. Be Happy Salt Cave socks are worn and a mat is provided.

Prenatal Yoga

What a great way for “Moms-to-be” to bond with their baby and other moms. No prior yoga experience is required. Moms must be at least 12 weeks along in their pregnancy. Prenatal yoga strengthens the mom to prepare for labor and delivery, helps deal with the aches and pains of pregnancy and helps reduce stress and provides deep relaxation.

Guided Meditation

This 45-minute class begins with mindfulness meditation and continues with a journaling session, an inspirational teaching and a take-home practice to try out for the week. Each class will include a different inspirational teaching, such as a reading from the Bible or from Search Inside Yourself.

Appropriate for beginner as well as more seasoned meditators. Students may sit in a chair or on the floor.

Yahweh Yoga

Taught from the Christian perspective involves the same practical movements of regular yoga, but there may be biblical verses, prayers and meditation added in for quiet contemplation alongside poses or during deep relaxation. The Bible teaches us to “be still” before God, and that solitude and prayer can lead to a healthy communion with God and our neighbors. Yoga from the Christian perspective can be a great activity for local churches or groups in the community.

Mommy & Me Yoga

Join a great community of moms with young babies, sharing the stories and connecting with their babies in a fun and relaxed environment. You are free to pick up your baby and feed her, rock her, change her diaper or walk her around the room if she cries. Don’t worry you can do anything you need to tend to your babies.

This class includes stretching, strengthening and balancing poses suitable for the new moms’ and babies’ conditions. Geared to accommodate babies ages 6 weeks to crawling. If Mommy had a C-section, we recommend attending 8 weeks after birth! Make sure that you get the “okay” from your doctor to attend this basic yoga class (both natural birth and C-section).

This can be a reunion for mommies who attended our prenatal classes. Introduce your babies to your fellow prenatal yogis!

Corefirst

The corefirst system utilizes hands-free straps to activate the core and strengthen and stretch the entire body. This class is perfect for those looking for a quick, efficient and effective workout. The hands-free straps also make this an accessible workout for those with arthritis or joint pain.

Corefirst Strength

Uses Corefirst resistance bands to build not only your core strength, but strengthen your entire body.

Corefirst Yoga

A take on yoga using the Corefirst resistance bands to help stretch and lengthen your muscles while connecting breath to movement.

Corefirst Cardio

A cardio style Corefirst class using the bands to improve core strength and raise the heart rate at the same time.

Corefirst Pilates

Pilates-style class using Corefirst resistance bands to focus on core stability, strength, and flexibility.

Corefirst Barre

Toning, low impact class incorporating elements of ballet, pilates and yoga using Corefirst resistance bands.
